Terekhov told when the heating season will start in Kharkiv.
Kharkiv is ready for the heating season due to good weather
The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, stated that the city is already ready to start the heating season, but does not rush to start it due to good weather. He emphasized that this will save gas and money for city residents.
According to the mayor, heat will be supplied to homes after the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees or below for three consecutive days.
Preliminarily, the heating season began in Kyiv for hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other social institutions of the city. Residential buildings will be connected to heating when the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees for three days and there is a trend towards cooling.
Let us recall that in the coming days, the first frosts are expected in certain regions of Ukraine. However, energy experts are confident that this will not lead to power outages.
It is also worth noting that NAEK "Energoatom" took one more power unit of a nuclear power plant out of repair nine days earlier than planned. Now all nine power units are ready to operate in the autumn-winter period in Ukraine.
