Martin Lewis, a money-saving expert from Money Saving Expert, encouraged shoppers to check their emails, following a special offer last month. The £10 bonus is being sent to the accounts of those who took advantage of the trick 'turn £5 into £20' in July.

Experts added: 'Haven't received your bonus yet? Don't worry - Tesco has told us that they will add 1,000 bonus points to the accounts of those who used the trick by Sunday, October 19, so there's still time.'

However, customers' joy was short-lived as the deadline for participating in the offer ended on July 29, so those who missed it will not be able to receive the bonus.

Celebrating 30 Years of Rewards

This generous offer is in celebration of 30 years of Tesco rewards. The popular store announced last month that it would provide its customers with a £10 bonus simply for exchanging £5 Clubcard vouchers with one of Tesco's partners to visit local designated sites.

Shoppers could choose from over 100 exciting locations from Highland Safaris in Scotland to the Eden Project in Cornwall. Other famous reward partners include the Alton Towers Resort and LEGOLAND Windsor.

Other Supermarket Loyalty Programs

Last month, The Sun reported that another popular supermarket launched a new subscription aimed at online grocery shoppers. The service aims to give customers the opportunity to save money on delivery costs.

The scheme called Waitrose Delivery Pass is now available across the UK after a successful trial. It allows shoppers to pay a fixed amount in advance for delivery, either monthly, biannually, or annually, through the Waitrose website or app.
