System of Tesco Clubcard
The Tesco Clubcard system allows shoppers to accumulate points while shopping, which can then be exchanged for vouchers for discounts on food or other rewards programs.
For every £1 spent in-store or online, you earn one point by scanning your card or app.
Drivers using the Clubcard earn one point for every two liters of fuel.
One point equals 1 penny, so 150 points will give you £1.50, for example.
The minimum number of points to request a voucher is 150.
These vouchers can be face value for spending in Tesco stores, or their value can be doubled for purchases with reward partners, including restaurants and entertainment.
Those using loyalty cards can also receive discounts on over 8000 products thanks to special Clubcard prices.
Clubcard prices save the average member £360 on annual purchases, according to Tesco data.
Recovering lost Clubcard points
Many people lose or forget to use their Tesco vouchers, but there is a simple way to recover unused vouchers from the last two years.
Here’s how to check if you have unused vouchers.
First, you need to log into your Tesco Clubcard account on Tesco.com or through the Clubcard app.
You will need your name, email, and Clubcard number for this.
Once logged in, go to the 'My Clubcard Account' section and click on 'Vouchers' to view the complete list of vouchers you still have.
You can use the code included in your voucher for online purchases.
To redeem them in-store, you need to print them out and take them with you.
The Tesco Clubcard system continues to evolve to provide its users with more and more benefits. Consumers can not only enjoy discounts on their purchases but also have the chance to win great prizes, like a million points, making shopping even more attractive.
Participating in such promotions encourages consumer loyalty and aligns well with modern market needs, allowing customers to get more benefits from their spending.
