Incident with the fan

According to The Sun: Young talent LUKE LITTLER was angered by a fan who, according to him, 'grabbed' him from behind at the hotel.

The Brit is currently in Prague for the Czech Darts Open, where he will meet Cameron Menzies in his first match, fighting for a prize of £30,000.

Littler arrived in Prague on Friday evening and was greeted by a group of fans eager to take photos with him. He also faced verbal abuse when one of the fans 'shouted' in his direction along with his father.

On Instagram, he shared a photo of his hotel room, accompanying it with the comment:

“Just arrived at the hotel in Prague, took a few photos, hard to believe it's 8:20 PM here, so many people, and as I started walking, someone grabbed me and wanted to take a photo. There's no need to grab someone, just ask politely, how hard is that?”

He also noted:

“And for the guy who came up to me and my dad, shouting 'hey', and then said my behavior was bad and I was no better than anyone else, DON'T GRAB ME FROM BEHIND, because that’s bad behavior, not mine. As soon as he grabbed me, I told him not to touch me and walked away.”

Challenges at tournaments

Littler has faced difficulties at European tournaments, particularly in Germany, where he was met with hostility at events such as the World Cup for England. He even expressed his intention to boycott these events, but plans to take part in the German Darts Championship in Gildesheim next month.

He told Sky Sports:

“I had a little moment of headache, I don't understand it and can't explain it.”

“Obviously, you make your exit on stage, but as soon as I stepped out, I started getting booed.”

Littler plans to continue his impressive winning streak at the Czech Darts Open after a series of successes at the World Matchplay, Australian Darts Masters, New Zealand Darts Masters, and a victory at the Flanders Darts Trophy a week ago.
