Ukraine has a significant number of agents among the Russian army personnel who perform various tasks, including sabotage operations. This is reported by the British publication The Telegraph.

The article quotes a Russian conscript who stated that he collaborates with the Ukrainian resistance. He talked about his sabotage activities, particularly about setting fire to his unit's trench, which caused a fire and burns to many soldiers. The Russian emphasized that he did his job well and will try to continue fighting against Putin's regime.

The resistance movement "Atesh" cooperates with Ukrainian intelligence and uses Russian soldiers on the front line to obtain information about the Russian army's military actions. They provide information about troop movements, weapons and ammunition supplies, location of commanders and command posts, as well as air defense systems and flight schedules. Members of the movement also damage equipment and weapons, organize sabotage, and set their positions on fire.

The Telegraph also mentions other "Atesh" agents. A Russian soldier working at a Russian airbase monitors aircraft movements and weapons supplies. Another agent controls the arrival and departure of ships from the port of Caucasus, through which fuel deliveries to Crimea pass. The work of these agents resulted in the destruction of the Black Sea Fleet headquarters and the sinking of a ferry crossing and an oil depot in the port of Caucasus, causing a fuel shortage on the peninsula.
