NFL's Future Plans
NFL experts believe that the possibility of hosting the Super Bowl in Great Britain is already being discussed at a serious level.
“In my mind, there are no doubts — it is a matter of time. I would bet that it will happen within the next five years,”said Ndamukong Suh, Super Bowl champion.
NFL owners are seriously examining the possibility of moving the Super Bowl to the international stage. Among the new potential cities for games are Dublin, Madrid, Berlin, and plans to return to Brazil and hold a game in Australia in Melbourne next year. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wants every team to play at least one international game per season, aiming for 16 games abroad each year.
By the end of this month, London will have already hosted 42 NFL games since their first games in 2007, and fans may soon witness the most important night in sports.
