Changes in the Operation of Nest Thermostats
According to The Sun: Thousands of Nest thermostats may fail due to significant changes from Google. Starting October 25, the company will stop supporting 1st and 2nd generation Nest Learning thermostats. This will lead to the loss of internet functions for many users in the UK and Europe within just a few hours.
“Users of thermostats may face operational issues, and remote management capabilities will be significantly limited,”experts note.
Thus, owners of these models should be prepared for potential inconveniences due to the lack of technical support. This situation could pose significant difficulties, especially during cold seasons when temperature regulation is critically important.
