Improvement for pensioners in Lincolnshire
According to The Sun: Thousands of pensioners will receive free fryers, slow cookers, and one-cup kettles this winter to reduce their electricity bills.

The local authority is gifting free gadgets to pensioners in the areaGETTYFor example, deep fryers in operation can cost around 49 pence an hour, although this can vary based on the size of the appliance.
The program has been running since July, and local residents can still apply for free gifts.
“We know that many pensioners are still facing difficulties due to the cost-of-living crisis and rising energy prices, so we are offering assistance again,” said Rob Walthelm, leader of North Lincolnshire council.
