Changes in Generation Z's eating habits
Generation Z is increasingly refusing to cook homemade meals on weekdays, opting for expensive takeout or quick snacks from supermarkets.According to The Sun: A survey of 2000 adults showed that when the evening is “lost,” 35% of young people born after 1996 order food delivery, while 29% prefer ready-made snacks and sandwiches. 62% of respondents claim they lack the time to cook at home.
“If you deserve to treat yourself to food you like, why not do it?”
Thus, new eating habits are becoming increasingly popular, as the younger generation tries to save time in their busy schedules.
These changes in diet reflect a modern lifestyle, where the pace of life is constantly increasing. In conditions where young people are actively studying, working, and leading social lives, they often prefer simple and quick food solutions that easily fit into their schedules.
