Bundesliga club opens Roman-style tunnel: how the unique arena looks.

According to The Sun: The Bundesliga club FC Augsburg presented its new tunnel before the match against Bayern Munich last month.
Augsburg has been actively working on updating the tunnel as part of necessary renovations.
FC AUGSBURGThe design of the new tunnel reflects ancient Roman architecture, inspired by ancient amphitheaters. The gates are designed in the form of monuments of the Eternal City and Verona.
The walls of the tunnel look as if they are laid with ancient Roman tiles styled to the era. The stones are illuminated by accent lights that highlight the club's coat of arms.

A mosaic made of Italian tiles adorns the middle of the tunnel, which the club proudly showcased on its social media.
“We have long talked about the desire to modernize the player tunnel,” said Augsburg's CEO Michael Ströll.
He emphasized that the previous tunnel was functional but did not attract attention.
“The results of the renovation are impressive. Our new tunnel has a stylish, detailed design and fits perfectly with our club,” he added.

“We now undoubtedly have one of the most beautiful player tunnels in the Bundesliga,” concluded Ströll.
The next team to visit Augsburg's new tunnel will be St Pauli during their match at the WWK arena next week.
