Closure of the tile manufacturing company
According to The Sun: A long-time kitchen goods supplier has declared bankruptcy, leaving all workers unemployed in an instant. The tile manufacturer is shutting down its four plants due to the implementation of administrative management. Ceramique Internationale Ltd, located in Leeds, as well as Rowmarl Ltd from Bedford, Spectrum Tiles Ltd and Euxton Tile Supplies Ltd, both from Euxton, Lancashire, faced financial difficulties.
"We are doing everything we can to provide support to our employees during this challenging time," said the company representative.
This situation has led to a sharp decline in production capacity and an increase in unemployment levels in the region. Local residents are concerned as the company's closure will not only affect the economy but also the social life of the community, as many people are left without means of livelihood.
