Tragically died 16-year-old Ukrainian football player.


16-year-old Ivan Shkvyrka, a player of the 'Mykolaiv' team, faced a tragedy - he died from carbon monoxide poisoning. This was reported by the club's press service.
Ivan was one of the most talented players of the Mykolaiv Youth Sports School and the youth team of FC 'Mykolaiv'. He left behind bright memories, unforgettable matches, and an unwavering spirit of struggle. The club expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends, shares their pain, and prays for his soul. Ivan will always remain in our hearts.
Ivan Shkvyrka was the winner of the Children's and Youth Football League of Lviv region. Recently, he joined the youth team of FC 'Mykolaiv', which competes at the amateur level.
Cases of carbon monoxide poisoning do not bypass other regions of Ukraine. Recently in Dnipropetrovsk region, a 14-year-old teenager was poisoned by Revo, and in Lviv on Knyaz Roman Street, 9 people, including 5 children, were affected by carbon monoxide. Earlier in Kolomyia, there was also a case of carbon monoxide poisoning due to a faulty gas boiler, which affected a family of 4.
