President of the United States Donald Trump expressed his views on various issues concerning Ukraine. He stated that he does not intend to provide formal security guarantees to Ukraine, believing that this issue should be resolved by Europe. Trump also advised Ukraine to 'forget about NATO'.

I don't want to spend more money on Ukraine. I will not provide too many guarantees. We will ask Europe to do this, but we will do everything possible to ensure that everything goes well.
I am not going to talk about this now (about the possible concessions Ukraine has to make, - ed.). I can say, forget about NATO. This is probably the reason everything started.

Trump also noted that the agreement on rare-earth minerals with Ukraine will ensure some security. He stated that the U.S. will be partners with Ukraine in this area. In addition, Trump called Vladimir Putin 'a very smart person' and noted that to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, concessions to Russia need to be made.

The U.S. President also stated his intention to return parts of lost territory to Ukraine, although he acknowledged that this would be difficult. He supported the initiative of Great Britain and France regarding the deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine.

It is reminded that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that if NATO membership remains unavailable for Ukraine, there is no choice but to build NATO within Ukraine itself.

It is also reported that Zelensky will arrive in Washington on Friday.
