Payments to the Armed Forces of Ukraine - who can receive financial assistance in July.

Military personnel may receive financial assistance for resolving social and domestic issues, in addition to their main salary. This assistance is regulated by certain orders and decrees of the government.

Who can receive assistance

Assistance may be received by military personnel who have become disabled due to injury, as well as their relatives in case of captivity or disappearance. Assistance is also provided in the event of the death of close relatives or the birth of a child.

Amount and registration of payment

Financial assistance is calculated based on the monthly income of the military personnel and is paid once a year. To receive assistance, it is necessary to submit a report to the commander and provide the required documents.

A new draft law registered in the Verkhovna Rada regarding monetary support for military personnel is considered discriminatory and outdated. The authors of the law propose to modernize it to improve the payment conditions for defenders.

In July 2025, military personnel can expect certain payments, the list of which will be reviewed in the relevant documents.
