Trump harshly criticizes US defense contractors: demands increased production.
Criticism of American Defense Contractors
According to ТСН: US President Donald Trump expressed sharp criticism of the country's defense contractors, urging them to expedite arms production urgently.
In his speech, he noted that despite the US's technological advantage, bureaucratic delays and slow production cycles hinder national security.
"No one has weapons of such quality as we do. The problem is that we do not produce it fast enough. We are going to start producing it much faster. We will be very tough on the companies. We have the best weapons in the world, but it takes too much time," he said.
It is also worth reminding that earlier, the US president revealed details of the weapons supply scheme to Ukraine.
Trump's comments underscore the relevance of defense productivity amid an ever-changing global situation. Calls for increased production align with US policy to support allies in the context of security, particularly in Eastern Europe, where the use of American weapons has remained an important factor. This also reflects the US administration's efforts to modernize defense capabilities in the face of rising threats in various regions of the world.
