According to The Sun: U.S. President Donald Trump demanded that Vladimir Putin organize a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky within a few weeks. Trump even used the upcoming World Cup as an opportunity to facilitate negotiations. However, the Kremlin has stated that there are no plans for such a meeting, maintaining the same position on the issue of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, concerns are being raised about the outcomes of Trump's meeting with Putin in Alaska, where the dictator demanded the transfer of Ukrainian lands for the sake of peace. The European Commission condemns such behavior and asserts that Ukraine is not going to give up its territory. The results of diplomatic attempts to resolve the conflict remain uncertain, but Zelensky confidently claims that he will not give land to Russia.
