Free electric blankets to support households
Two largest energy suppliers in the UK are launching a campaign to distribute free electric blankets. This initiative is aimed at helping households facing financial difficulties to reduce heating costs by up to £300 this winter. Both companies emphasize that this measure helps people keep warm while spending less money, as electric blankets cost about 2-4 pence per hour — significantly cheaper than traditional heating methods.“This step is important to support those who are particularly in need of help this winter season,”said representatives of the suppliers. This initiative is part of a broader program aimed at improving the welfare of the population and reducing energy resource costs in the context of rising prices. Free electric blankets can make an important contribution to assisting families that find themselves in difficult financial circumstances, especially during the winter period.
