Fury leaves the heavyweight rankings
According to The Sun: Tyson Fury has joined Anthony Joshua in exiting the heavyweight rankings of Ring magazine. The former WBC world champion last stepped into the ring on December 21 of last year, when he lost a rematch to Oleksandr Usyk. According to Ring's rules, a boxer is removed from the rankings after 12 months without a fight.
“I always wanted to be the greatest boxer of all time, but right now I don't know what will happen next,” said Fury.
It is currently unclear whether Fury plans to return to professional boxing, but his lengthy absence from the ring has already raised many questions. The athlete has recently found himself back in the media spotlight due to his statements about possible future plans.
