Biden has no clear stance on the war in Ukraine and the escalation in the Middle East — FT.
US President Joe Biden is considered insufficiently effective in addressing urgent issues. One such issue is the threat of a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah. Despite this, Biden supports Israel's policy and does not change his stance even after protests and calls for de-escalation of the conflict.
According to experts, there is no data confirming the success of such a position. The war continues, and none of Biden's measures are bringing results.
The electoral headquarters of Kamala Harris takes a slightly different view of the situation. She considers Israel's actions threatening and negatively impacting the US economy. If Israel expands its territory of control in southern Lebanon, it will lead to an increase in oil prices and a worsening of the socio-economic situation in the country.
However, the issue of Ukraine is not a priority for the American president. Biden does not support the possibility of strikes on Russian territory and restrains the Armed Forces of Ukraine from taking active actions.
