Opening of the Active Park in Borodyanka
According to inkorr.com: An Active Park will soon open in Borodyanka, which is based on the site of an experimental temporary park. This will be an innovative space for sports, recreation, and entertainment for local residents.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, as well as the teams of Big City Lab, Urban Reform, and Street Culture. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kubela emphasized that such parks help to unite communities and develop frontline territories, creating comfortable living conditions.
“We are building not just a sports area - but a space for the whole community, for all age groups, focusing heavily on youth. In this space, the main characters are those who engage in sports. The park unites the community and promotes physical activity.”
The Active Park will become a center for various sports and communication among all segments of the population. Plans include the creation of a skatepark, basketball and football courts, fitness zones, a children's playground, as well as public restrooms and a café.
The project will be implemented in two phases: first, the sports area and the central square will be arranged, and later the area around the lakes will be improved.
The creation of the Active Park in Borodyanka will be an important step in improving the lives of local residents, promoting an active lifestyle and community unity.
This project will not only improve the city's infrastructure but will also become a center for exchanging ideas and cultural events. Engaging the public to visit the park will also contribute to the development of a healthy lifestyle among residents, especially youth.
