The State Border Guard Service explained the enemy's tactics in the Sumy region.
The State Border Guard Service reports that Russia has changed the direction of intrusion of sabotage and reconnaissance groups into the Sumy region. According to border guards, enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups are trying to penetrate the territory of Ukraine in the southern part of the region, closer to Kharkiv.
According to the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, the activity of sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Sumy region remains high. Previously, the most active sabotage groups operated in the northern part of Sumy, closer to Chernihiv, but over the past few weeks, there has been an increase in attempts by these groups to penetrate into other territories, notably the Krasnopillia community, which is closer to Kharkiv.
The spokesperson noted that the tactics of sabotage groups differ from the actions of small assault groups that the enemy throws helplessly onto Ukrainian territory. The enemy cannot achieve its goals in the areas of the settlements of Noven'ke and Zhuravka in the Sumy region, although attempts to penetrate with small groups continue. The enemy has accumulated military personnel and equipment there.
However, Demchenko emphasizes that the possibility of the enemy using these forces in other sections of the border cannot be ruled out. But currently, activity is observed specifically in this section.
