According to inkorr.com: The heating season in residential buildings in Kyiv will begin on October 29, announced the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko.
"The deployment of the heating supply system technically requires up to seven days. Considering the forecasted drop in temperature, the city has decided to start the heating season in residential buildings from October 29," Klitschko said.
Since October 3, heating has been supplied to hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other social institutions in the capital at the request of their managers. The mayor also urges Kyiv residents to use energy resources carefully to ensure the reliable operation of the heating supply system during the cold.
