In Kyiv, power was cut off for 5800 houses: how the recovery works are progressing.
According to inkorr.com: Recovery work for electricity and water supply is ongoing in Kyiv and surrounding areas after a recent massive attack. The head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported that more than 5800 houses remained without electricity in the capital as of the morning, and about 7 thousand - without water.
“More than 540 thousand consumers have already been connected, of which 80 thousand - just in the last hour,” said Tkachенко.
Water supply has been restored across the entire network, and pressure stabilization is currently underway. Utility services note that the situation depends on energy supply. Water supply points, wells, and organized water delivery are operating in the city. Transportation is functioning, but educational institutions and medical centers are operating on a special schedule.
The situation with housing and services
Regarding damage to residential buildings, all fires in this area are under control. Assistance has been provided to 12 people, and a humanitarian headquarters is actively working in the Pechersk district.
“Today, the residents of the city continue to impress with their work ethic. Their task is to help. A big thank you to doctors, teachers, specialists, and district leaders for their important work in difficult conditions,” noted Tkachенко.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported on emergency power outages in several regions. As of 7:00 PM, water supply has been successfully restored in Kyiv, and in the Kirovohrad region, water will appear in taps by morning. Cherkasy region has fully restored, while emergency outages have been canceled in the Donetsk region. The work on energy supply in Kyiv continues.
“Now attacks on Kyiv have become much more intense. We must be ready for the repetition of such events,” warned Tkachенко.
