The Kyiv government has approved recommendations for the safe use of generators due to constant attacks on energy facilities. The use of generators is now mandatory to ensure electricity supply for businesses and citizens.
The following recommendations have been published for residents of Kyiv:
- place generators in open areas;
- maintain a safe distance from trees and bushes;
- do not install generators inside buildings;
- ensure protection against electric shock;
- complete training and instruction on generator operation.
Inspectors of urban development will begin work on disseminating information among the population and businesses after the decision is made.
