In Myanmar, over 2,000 people died due to the earthquake.
The number of fatalities from a strong earthquake in Myanmar has risen to 2056 people. Another 3900 people were injured, and 270 are still considered missing.

Earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 6.4 occurred on March 28 in Myanmar. Tremors were felt in China and Thailand.
Four people were pulled alive from the rubble of the Sky Villa apartment building in Mandalay. Among those rescued were a pregnant woman and a child. The authorities of Myanmar announced a national mourning period from March 31 to April 6 due to these tragic events.
In Bangkok, the death toll from the collapse of a partially constructed high-rise has risen to 13 people, with the total number of casualties from the tremors amounting to 20 people. Another 75 people are considered missing.
It is worth noting that earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 6.4 occurred in Myanmar on March 28. Earlier reports indicated 1644 fatalities from these natural disasters.
Currently, foreign rescue teams are arriving in Myanmar to assist in the search for survivors after the earthquake.
