Light restrictions in Ukraine will remain: when the duration of outages will be reduced.
According to ТСН: The acting Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov reported the continuation of restrictions on electricity consumption in Ukraine. However, according to him, there is a possibility to reduce the duration of these restrictions if the air defense system operates stably.
The energy workers are currently restoring power generation, distribution, and transmission facilities. The entire government team is working to shorten their duration," he noted.
Nekrasov also added that specialists in the energy sector are working in an enhanced mode. Currently, power engineers have organized round-the-clock work in three shifts to quickly bring the damaged equipment back into operation.
Previously, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that to avoid corruption risks, a complete reboot of energy companies and institutions is necessary.
Moreover, the government plans to revise the approaches to electricity outage schedules, which may significantly affect the situation in various regions.
The situation in the energy sector remains tense, as the restrictions on electricity consumption continue. However, government efforts to restore infrastructure and revise approaches to outages can significantly improve the situation in the near future. The issue of the stability of the energy system remains a priority for the state.
