A building of the military airfield 'Chkalovsky' is burning in the Moscow region.
In the Moscow region of the Russian Federation, at the military airfield "Chkalovsky", a fire occurred, as reported by Telegram channels Astra and "112". An administrative building caught fire, currently, there is no mention of casualties. Rescue services have already arrived at the scene and started evacuation.
The large fire engulfed the roof of an L-shaped structure, the fire has a second level of complexity. Approximately 800 square meters of area were occupied. Initially, no one was injured.
The airfield "Chkalovsky" is located on the southeastern outskirts of the city of Shchyolkovo, 31 km northeast of Moscow. It was founded in the 1930s.
Earlier, in the Voronezh region of Russia, a similar situation also occurred, as a result of a drone attack, objects were damaged, and a fire broke out. The Russian authorities blame Ukraine for this, but this information is currently subject to verification.
Also, in the Perm Territory of Russia, a large-scale fire occurred at a storage base of petroleum products. The fire covered an area of 10,000 square meters, more than 60 firefighters and 19 units of equipment are working at the scene. In the city of Novosibirsk, the regional office of the FSB burned down.
