The Kremlin urged not to rush into ending the war: what is known.
According to ТСН: Russia has once again commented on the situation with the war in Ukraine, calling for no reduction in attention to its resolution.
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that one should not draw premature conclusions about the proximity of the end of the conflict.
Comments on the peace plan
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov expressed his opinion on Trump's 'peace plan.' He noted:
'We are not ready to discuss certain details, in particular various versions of this peace plan publicly. Ultimately, time and attention are needed for the dialogue process to continue.'
In his opinion, the main problem is 'the presence or absence of political will to fulfill the agreements reached in Anchorage.' Ryabkov emphasized that Russia will adhere to the agreements made between Presidents Putin and Trump.
NATO's expectations
NATO has also expressed hope for the end of the war in Ukraine, believing that peace could come 'very soon.'
Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte shared his hope that:
'Of course, after the Geneva talks, there should be more meetings and a separate, parallel discussion with the EU and NATO on certain issues. And we are not at this stage yet. I sincerely hope that peace will come soon.'
The situation surrounding the war in Ukraine remains tense. However, calls for dialogue from both sides may indicate hope for progress in the peace process. The next steps of international organizations and countries could significantly impact the developments in the region.
