In Russia, a former 'Wagner' member attacked people with a knife.
In the city of Chelyabinsk, a former fighter of the private military company "Wagner" scared people by brandishing a knife. He was shot by the National Guard officers, reports the local publication 74.ru.
The incident occurred in the Tractor Plant district of the city. Witnesses reported an aggressive man threatening passersby with a knife. Police arrived at the scene, but the attacker managed to escape and hide in one of the buildings.
Later, National Guard officers arrived at the scene. However, the man continued to exhibit aggression.
As reported by local journalists from their sources, the shot man was previously a military member of a PMC (possibly "Wagner"). He had criminal records for drugs and causing grievous bodily harm.
It is noteworthy that in the house owned by Prigozhin (the owner of the "Wagner" company), sex parties are organized.
According to British intelligence, the "Wagner" group withdrew from the frontline in Ukraine in May 2023. They were replaced by irregular Chechen and Russian formations of the Ministry of Defense's "volunteer corps." In Syria and Libya, the "Wagner" group was replaced by the Russian army at the end of 2023 and early 2024 respectively, but they continue to have units in Belarus, Mali, and the Central African Republic.
