Russia has launched strategic bombers into the air: what does this mean.
According to ТСН: In Russia, on the night of December 27, the takeoff of strategic bombers Tu-95MS and Tu-160 was canceled.
According to monitoring channels, four Tu-95MS aircraft departed from the 'Belaya' airfield in the Irkutsk region. Two Tu-160 bombers took off from the 'Ukrainka' airfield in the Amur region, while one Tu-22M3 ascended from the 'Olenya' aerodrome in the Murmansk region.
Expected Actions
According to reports from monitoring sources, if the flights are combat missions, the aircraft may be at launch sites around 4-5 AM. Therefore, missile launches into Ukraine's airspace are expected within the next two hours.
It was previously reported that Russian invaders were carrying out missile attacks on Ukraine on the night of December 27, using Caliber-type missiles.
It has also been reported that as a result of the attack in Kharkiv, three people were injured, including an infant.
This situation raises serious concerns, as yet another attack on Ukraine reaffirms the threat from Russia. Monitoring and operational readiness of air forces remain extremely important amid escalating conflict. The situation in Kharkiv, where civilians were harmed, highlights the necessity of protecting the civilian population during military actions.
