Trump may bring Kyiv and Moscow to the negotiating table: US ambassador's statement.
According to ТСН: On the eve of the New Year, peace talks regarding Ukraine are at a critical stage. Only US President Donald Trump can bring representatives of Kyiv and Moscow to the negotiating table.
This information was made public by US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Vitaker on social media platform X.
Possibility of achieving peace
Vitaker believes that Trump has the potential to unite the parties in conflict to explore the possibility of reaching a peace agreement.
'On the eve of the New Year, as negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine enter a decisive phase, US President Donald Trump is the only leader capable of bringing both sides of the conflict to the negotiating table,' Vitaker noted.
High-level negotiations
President Volodymyr Zelensky has also announced new high-level peace negotiations. According to him, a meeting of representatives from the 'coalition of willing' countries will take place very soon, scheduled for January 3 in Ukraine.
The situation around the negotiations remains tense, and the global community is closely monitoring developments. The outcomes of these meetings could determine not only the future of Ukraine but also stability in the region. As Vitaker stated, US support plays a vital role in the process of peacefully resolving the conflict.
