Pentagon Unfreezes $400 Million for Ukraine: When the Aid Will Arrive.
U.S. Military Assistance to Ukraine
According to Espreso.tv: The U.S. Congress approved $400 million in military aid for Ukraine, funds that have been held up at the Pentagon level. In December 2025, Congress passed the 2026 defense budget, which includes this sum intended for the purchase of weapons and military equipment for Ukraine's defense forces. In April 2026, the Pentagon confirmed the release of the $400 million military aid package for Ukraine.
Accelerating the Aid Process
The House of Representatives voted to advance a petition aimed at providing military assistance to Ukraine. Don Bacon stated:
“The House voted to continue consideration of the petition to provide military aid to Ukraine”. Additionally, Senator Marco Rubio commented on the situation, saying that
“news on the $400 million will come very soon”. These developments indicate a renewed push to deliver aid to Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict.
U.S. military support remains a critical pillar of Ukraine's defense against aggression. The approval of funding and the accelerated petition review signal American lawmakers' commitment to bolstering Ukraine's armed forces. This could significantly enhance Ukraine's ability to strengthen its defensive capabilities during a period of heightened regional tensions.
