Today, on December 4, Georgian law enforcement conducted searches at the offices of the opposition parties 'United National Movement' and 'Coalition for Changes' and detained several individuals, including the founder of the TV company 'Mtavari' and the 'Akhali' party, Nikolaz Gvaramia, and activist Gela Khasaya from the 'Coalition for Changes'.
It is noted that last week, mass protests against the government took place in Tbilisi, joined by President Salome Zourabichvili. Security forces used water cannons to disperse the protesters. This triggered new protests in the country.
