Ukraine will be hit by cold weather from the second half of September: meteorologist names regions that will cool down first.
Changes in weather in Ukraine at the end of September
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, a gradual decrease in temperature is expected in the second half of September, starting from the northeastern regions. This was reported by Ivan Semilit, a meteorologist at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. According to him, in the first few days of the month, the country will remain under the influence of an anticyclone, so the weather will be relatively warm and stable.
'Until September 12-13, we will still be in an anticyclonic mode. And already in the second half of the month, we can expect a gradual, not sharp, but rather gradual decrease in temperature. Initially, this will be noticeable in the northeastern regions, and then the process will move diagonally across the country,' he noted.
Rain and its impact on the weather
The meteorologist emphasized that autumn is a transitional season, and atmospheric conditions can change rapidly. 'The atmosphere does not stand still; it is constantly changing. Therefore, we can receive both cool air masses from the Atlantic, bringing coolness and moisture, and warmer air flows from the southern latitudes, which will provide increased temperatures,' Semilit explained.
In conclusion, the climatologist also pointed out that Ukrainians should forget about harsh winters.
Thus, the weather in Ukraine at the end of September predicts a gradual decrease in temperature, starting from the northeastern regions. Meteorologists emphasize the variability of weather conditions in the transitional autumn season, which can bring both cold air masses from the Atlantic and warm air from the south. Ukrainians should be ready for rapid changes in weather and respond to them.
