The 'Reserve+' App Will Feature a Recruitment Service: Details from the Ministry of Defense.
In October this year, the Ministry of Defense's 'Reserve+' app will feature a recruitment service. This service will provide current vacancies in the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With this update, users will be able to find their future service location more quickly. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko at the IT Arena conference in Lviv.
According to her, the Ministry of Defense team aimed to make the 'Reserve+' app not only a data update tool but also a place where a conscript, recruit, or reservist can resolve their issues with a few clicks.
'And one of the important steps we are taking for this is opening the possibility to choose the place of service. We will gradually improve the functionality of the service and await user feedback,' emphasized Chernogorenko.
According to the official, the new recruitment service will help users choose vacancies that best match their experience, skills, and preferences. Both combat and non-combat positions will be available for selection.
Users will need to fill out a questionnaire at the beginning of the job search. Based on this information and the selected skills, the system will suggest the most suitable options. 'Reserve+' will contain detailed job descriptions, including information about brigades, their command, achievements, and media publications, according to the Ministry of Defense.
In the past six months, recruitment centers have reached out to 17-20% of women who expressed a desire to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contract.
It is worth noting that 6,500 volunteers are recruited monthly, with more than 10,000 vacancies available in the Defense Forces.
It was also mentioned about the improvement of the rotation system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the implementation of changes in this process, as well as the opening of a new Recruitment Center to the Ukrainian army in Kyiv, where candidates can choose a military position.
