The President's Office responded to rumors about Donald Trump's 'peace plan', which he, as the President of the United States, may implement.
This statement was made by the advisor to the President of Ukraine on communications, Dmytro Lytvyn, reports 'Khvylya', according to Interfax-Ukraine.
One of the most influential American publications, The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, reported that Donald Trump's 'peace plan' may involve Ukraine refusing to join NATO for 20 years and freezing the front line without returning the occupied territories.
Lytvyn emphasized that foreign media repeatedly spread Russian propaganda.
"As a rule, real plans of presidents are not announced in newspapers. And Russian propaganda is always actively spread in newspapers," he noted.
It is worth noting that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, had a telephone conversation with Donald Trump. According to the Ukrainian leader, their dialogue was fruitful and they reached certain agreements.
