According to Tribuna.com, Chelsea midfielder and Ukrainian national team player Mykhailo Mudryk confirmed the presence of doping in his body. Sample A was positive, and sample B is planned to be taken soon.
Currently, the name of the banned substance has not been disclosed.
Journalists reached out to Mudryk and his manager for comments, but have so far received a refusal.
UA-Football reports that Mudryk faces a 4-year ban.
Mudryk has made 73 appearances for Chelsea and scored 19 goals. He last took the field on November 28 in a Conference League match against Heidenheim. He was included in the team's roster until the beginning of December.
