According to inkorr.com: From November 1, military personnel can receive various state payments, which range from compensation upon discharge to one-time assistance in the case of disability.

The maximum payment amount for disability will be up to 1.2 million hryvnias.

Assistance in case of disability

Military personnel who sustain disabilities during service are entitled to a one-time state assistance. The amount of assistance depends on the disability group:

• Group I – 400 living minimums (1,211,200 UAH in 2025)
• Group II – 300 living minimums (908,400 UAH)
• Group III – 250 living minimums (757,000 UAH)

The calculation is based on the living minimum of 2025, which amounts to 3028 hryvnias.

Compensation after demobilization

The payment amount upon discharge is determined based on the status of the military personnel:

• For mobilized personnel: according to Cabinet resolution No. 460, they pay 4% of the monthly cash supply for each full month of service, but no less than 25% of the salary.
• For contracted personnel: the amount depends on the military rank:

• Private – 8 living minimums (24,224 UAH)
• Sergeant and Senior Sergeant – 9 living minimums (27,252 UAH)
• Officers – 10 living minimums (30,280 UAH)

Pension provision and monthly allowances

Combatants are entitled to early retirement with additional payments:

• 25% of the living minimum – a permanent pension supplement
• 40 hryvnias – targeted assistance for living
• Addressed assistance – if the total pension amount is less than 5528 UAH

Annual payment for Independence Day

Every year until August 24, the state pays festive payments to combatants:

• 1000 UAH – for combatants and victims of the Revolution of Dignity
• 2700-3100 UAH – military personnel with disabilities due to the war
• 3100 UAH – individuals with special merits to Ukraine

Social package: what else the state guarantees

In addition to financial payments, military personnel receive a number of privileges:

• Free medical service and medications
• Discounts on utility services
• Preferential travel in public transport
• Priority in employment after service completion

All payments and benefits are guaranteed by the state and do not require additional documents except for confirmation of combatant status.
