Dovbyk's participation in the matches of the Ukrainian national team in the Nations League is in doubt.
Roma forward Artem Dovbyk may miss the next matches of the Ukrainian national team in the Nations League. This was reported by RomaPress.
According to the publication, the Ukrainian felt knee pain in the last days, caused by a blow in the match against Bologna (2:3).
It is noted that Dovbyk underwent an MRI of the knee joint, the results of which were positive. The player's condition is considered satisfactory.
The forward will continue his recovery with the Ukrainian national team. He will be under the supervision of the medical staff of the national team and together with Roma's doctors will decide whether he should be involved in the matches against Georgia and Albania, or if it is better to return to Italy for further examinations.
It is worth reminding that Ukraine will play against Georgia on November 16.
By the way, more than a quarter of a century ago, on October 9, 1999, one of the most emotional matches in the history of the Ukrainian national team took place. In the last round of the qualification for the 2000 European Championship, the team of Yozhef Sabo played an away match against Russia and won.
It is worth reminding that in the eighth round of the Second German Bundesliga, a stunning event occurred. This league rarely gives much reason for discussion, but recently a very strange match took place, which is simply impossible to ignore.
