Ukraine's Defense Forces Strike Strategic Russian Targets

According to UATV: On April 2, it was reported that throughout March, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out significant strikes on strategic Russian enterprises. These operations successfully hit five factories and ten oil industry sites. The targeted areas included Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Leningrad Oblast.

The factories that came under attack were:

  • 'Kremny El' in Bryansk
  • 'Aviastar' in Ulyanovsk
  • The 123rd Aircraft Repair Plant in Staraya Russa
  • Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in Alchevsk
  • 'Granit' in Sevastopol

These facilities are critical to Russia's industrial base, and disabling them could significantly weaken the aggressor nation's military capabilities.

Additionally, six oil refineries were struck in March:

  • 'Albashneft'
  • 'Afipsky'
  • 'Saratovsky'
  • 'Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim'
  • 'Kirishsky'
  • 'Yaroslavsky'

These refineries are vital for meeting Russia's energy demands.

The attacks also destroyed 14 fuel and lubricant depots, further complicating logistics and supply chains for Russian military units. These actions by Ukraine's Defense Forces highlight an intensified effort to degrade the aggressor's defensive potential amid the ongoing war.

Strikes on Russia's strategic assets demonstrate that Ukraine continues to pursue active defense and counteroffensive operations aimed at depleting the enemy's military resources.

Taking these key enterprises offline could substantially impact Russia's armed forces, particularly their ability to secure equipment and supplies. These developments may serve as a pivotal factor in the conflict's escalation and potentially shift the regional balance of power.
