SBU and Navy Destroyed the Drone Factory Atlant Aero in Taganrog: Consequences for the Russian Army.
According to ТСН: The Alpha special operations center of the SBU, together with Navy units, struck the production facilities of the Russian factory "Atlant Aero" in Taganrog. After the attack, a series of loud explosions were heard at the factory, causing a fire.
The "Atlant Aero" factory is responsible for the full production cycle, including the design and testing of strike reconnaissance drones of the "Molniya" type, and also manufactures individual components for the "Orion" UAVs used by the occupying forces.
Impact on Drone Production
The destruction of this factory will lead to a decrease in drone production and a significant weakening of the technical capabilities of the invaders in conducting reconnaissance-strike operations using drones.
SBU representatives noted that each halted production line means hundreds of drones that will no longer be able to attack Ukrainian cities, take civilian lives, and destroy the homes of peaceful people.
Continuation of Attacks on Russian Defense Industry Objects
The special service announced that "cotton" at Russian military-industrial complex facilities will continue.
It is also worth noting that the "Atlant-Aero" factory in Taganrog has already been targeted before. In June 2025, drones also struck this enterprise. As reported by the head of the Ukrainian CPD Andriy Kovalenko, this strategic enterprise produces components for strike drones "Orion", EW systems, and FPV drone control systems.
The mission of the Alpha special operations center of the SBU and Navy units is to destroy key production facilities that provide the aggressor with military technologies. The attack on the "Atlant Aero" factory is an important step towards weakening Russia's military capabilities. Such actions can significantly affect the course of hostilities, preventing the enemy from deploying drones and realizing aggressive intentions.Read also
