Since its creation in the 19th century, the drink has been sold in over 200 countries worldwide. 1.8 billion servings are consumed every day, and the company ranks sixth in value among global brands according to Interbrand's 2023 survey.
New on Shelves
One Facebook user in the Newfoodsuk group reported that a new black can of Coca-Cola with an orange cream flavor appeared at Home Bargains. This unexpected innovation has sparked significant buzz among consumers.
The post featured two photos showing orange cans with the caption: “Coca-Cola with Orange Cream flavor spotted at Home Bargains!”
However, shoppers are not pleased with the new flavor, as reflected in the comments under the post. One commenter wrote:
“Just leave things alone.”Another noted:
“They just taste like Vanilla Coke.”You can also find a comment:
“Oh ffs if you want that flavour get Fanta and vanilla ice cream.”
Another user shared:
“It’s not that great sorry to tell y’all’s.”And a fifth added:
“These flavors are always a disappointment.”
Coca-Cola's Plans
Coca-Cola is considering selling Costa Coffee. Reports indicate that it has hired the investment bank Lazard to organize the deal, with bids expected in the fall, according to Sky News.

The future of Costa Coffee raises concerns, as analysts predict that the company could sell the chain for only about £2 billion after a £3.9 billion deal in 2018. Under current conditions of rising inflation and declining jobs, the business is facing financial difficulties.
All Costa Coffee outlets continue to operate as usual, and The Sun reached out to Coca-Cola and Lazard for comment.
The situation with the new Coca-Cola flavor demonstrates the importance of consumer reactions to innovations in beloved products. Companies, looking at user feedback, can adapt their strategies and offerings to meet the views and tastes of potential customers. This may also affect the further development of the Coca-Cola brand in the face of increasing competition in the soft drink market.
