Uklon Expands 24/7 Service to Seven More Ukrainian Cities.
Uklon Extends Round-the-Clock Operations
According to Novyny.live: Uklon, the ride-hailing service, is significantly expanding its 24/7 availability across Ukraine. Starting February 7, 2024, customers in seven additional cities will be able to book a car at any hour of the day or night, enhancing mobility for residents. This expansion is a direct response to growing passenger demand for reliable transportation, especially during evening and nighttime hours.
With this latest update, Uklon will now offer non-stop service in a total of 26 Ukrainian cities. The seven new locations where 24/7 operations will commence are:
- Kharkiv
- Zaporizhzhia
- Dnipro
- Kryvyi Rih
- Mykolaiv
- Sumy
- Chernihiv
This move is designed to meet the increasing demand for taxi services in Ukraine and will provide greater convenience for passengers needing rides outside of standard daytime hours. The service is particularly vital in urban areas where public transport options are limited at night.
It is noteworthy that the average monthly salary for a taxi driver in Ukraine is 37,500 UAH. The introduction of 24/7 operations in these new cities is expected to positively impact drivers' economic opportunities by providing them with additional earning potential during night shifts.
Impact on the Taxi Market
The expansion of Uklon's 24/7 service highlights the rising demand for taxi services in Ukraine, particularly during nighttime when transportation needs are often most acute. This growth also has the potential to improve drivers' financial stability, as increased operating hours open up new avenues for income—a crucial factor given the current economic climate.
