Zelensky: Ukrainian intelligence will pass data on Russia's true intentions to the USA.
According to ТСН: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky informed that the Ukrainian intelligence will provide the United States and European partners with information about Russia's real intentions.
He emphasized the need to continue "constructive work" with Trump's team and European governments. The main goal is to timely inform partners about all actions of the Kremlin that may affect joint diplomatic and security decisions.
Zelensky noted that partners receive data on Russia's attempts to use negotiations to reduce international pressure related to sanctions and security decisions in the context of the front and a possible ceasefire.
The President also thanked Andriy Hnatov for the "substantive briefing" regarding the assessment of the situation at the front, which they received from American partners. According to him, during the meeting with intelligence representatives, possible actions on the front and the risks of disrupting agreements in case of reaching a temporary peace deal were discussed.
Negotiations and the peace process
It should be reminded that the Ukrainian delegation and representatives of the USA during negotiations in Florida were working on improving the Geneva document, which is the basis of the peace plan. President Zelensky mentioned that Rustem Umerov and the participants of the negotiations outlined the key highlights of the American side and continue to involve European partners in shaping decisions.
The head of state emphasized that Ukraine considers the diplomatic process a serious tool for achieving real peace and security guarantees and expects a similar position from Russia. Umerov will communicate with Washington to agree on the schedule of subsequent meetings.
This information highlights Ukraine's active participation in international negotiations and efforts to strengthen cooperation with Western partners. As events unfold, it is important to understand how diplomatic efforts can influence the security situation in the region.
