The men's team, which started the tournament with not very high chances, ultimately won gold. Athletes Ruslan Ponomariov, Andriy Volokitin, Anton Korobov, Ihor Kovalenko, and Ihor Samunenko showed confidence and became the first in the final match against the team from England.
