Compared to last year, exports this year have decreased. If in the previous year Ukraine exported 13,297 thousand tons, the current figures are significantly lower.
Key export indicators of cereals and legumes for 2025/2026:
- Wheat - 5,819 thousand tons;
- Corn - 1,271 thousand tons;
- Barley - 1,026 thousand tons;
- Rye - 0.2 thousand tons.
This year, flour exports reached 19.5 thousand tons, of which 18.8 thousand tons were wheat flour.
In October 2025 alone, Ukraine exported 1,612 thousand tons of grain and flour (converted to grain), of which 1,606 thousand tons were cereals and legumes, and 5.6 thousand tons were flour.
Thus, Ukraine continues to actively export grain and flour, however, this marketing year sees a decrease in export volumes compared to the previous year.
This decline in exports indicates a change in the market situation, which may be caused by various factors such as changes in demand on the international market or internal economic challenges. Among the key tasks for Ukraine's agricultural sector are improving business conditions and increasing competitiveness in export markets.
