Ukraine named the condition for the continuation of gas transit to Europe.
Ukraine has set the necessary security conditions for Azerbaijan and Slovakia to continue gas supplies through its territory.
According to the publication "RBC-Ukraine", such supplies will become possible only on the condition that Azerbaijan or Slovakia agree with Russia to prevent shelling of gas transportation facilities.
However, at the moment, consultations with the European Union on gas supplies after 2024 are not actively being held. This is due to the fact that Azerbaijan has not participated in these consultations for several months.
Additionally, a source in the publication suggests that the near-zero reduction in Baku's activity is linked to Russia's position, which must necessarily participate in this process.
This topic is not yet being discussed in detail by Slovakia.
Recall, gas reserves in Ukraine amount to 12.8 billion cubic meters.
