Ukraine's Stance on the Occupation

According to UATV: Ukraine will not recognize the occupation of its lands nor agree to any territorial concessions to Russia. During a UN Security Council meeting, Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister, Maryana Betsa, urged the international community to mobilize its resources to halt Russian aggression. She expressed deep concern over Moscow's continuing actions. The ongoing conflict represents the largest ground war in Europe since World War II, making international resolve critical.

Maryana Betsa noted that despite peace efforts led by the United States and supported by Europe,

"Russia continues to demonstrate a lack of any real readiness to stop this aggression,"
she emphasized. She also stressed that while Ukraine seeks peace, it will not do so at any cost.
"Not a peace that is a guise for capitulation or surrender. That will not happen. Ukraine will not surrender,"
Betsa added.

International Support for Ukraine

In a significant show of continued international backing, the European Parliament has signed off on a 90-billion-euro support package for Ukraine. This substantial financial aid is intended to assist the country in stabilizing and rebuilding its economy amid the ongoing conflict. This move underscores the West's commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and long-term resilience.

The statements by Maryana Betsa reflect Ukraine's unwavering position on territorial integrity and its refusal to accept compromises that could threaten the nation's independence. Simultaneously, the support from the European Parliament confirms international solidarity with Ukraine and its efforts to counter the aggression, which is vital for regional stability and the future course of the situation in Ukraine.
