Ukraine is the first in Europe to launch digital driver's licenses: how to obtain them.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian drivers can now apply for a driver's license online. As reported by 'Khvylia', this information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Main Service Center.
Ukraine has become the first European country where a driver's license can be stored in digital format on a smartphone. Updating or renewing the document is now available in just a few clicks through the Diia platform.
When is this necessary:
- the document has expired;
- personal data has changed;
- the document has been lost, damaged, or stolen;
- want to obtain a modern digital license.
What is the process:
- Open Diia - Services - License replacement;
- Select the reason and type (electronic / plastic + electronic);
- Specify the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (if a physical form is needed);
- Sign the application and pay online.
A driver's license can be obtained at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center or ordered for delivery to an address.
'Help us reduce the burden - use online services', the Ministry of Internal Affairs urged.
Recently, a new fraudulent scheme targeting drivers has been discovered in Ukraine.
Obtaining a driver's license online is gaining popularity among Ukrainian drivers. This convenient service allows storing the document in digital format on a smartphone, simplifying the process, reducing the load on service centers, and ensuring quick access to the necessary document.
