The government is preparing a social protection reform: what will change for Ukrainians.
Discussion on reforming the social protection system in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: The Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, Denys Uliutin, met with representatives of the International Labour Organization (ILO) to discuss reforms in the field of social protection. The main task is to develop a sustainable system that not only provides payments but also creates favorable conditions for the development of people and the economy of the country.
Results of forecasts regarding the pension system
At the meeting, the results of research on the financial sustainability of Ukraine's pension system were also presented. According to the obtained data, without reforms, the deficit of the Pension Fund will increase due to demographic changes. However, systemic updates can help stabilize this situation.
The social protection system is a key element for ensuring the well-being of citizens, so the implementation of these reforms can significantly impact the lives of thousands of Ukrainians. The successful implementation of the planned changes will also signal to international partners about Ukraine's readiness for development and cooperation in the social sphere.
